“Lesozavod-25” is the largest sawmill in northwestern Russia. The plant belongs to the Titan group, which consists of more than 20 companies, and which owns facilities in the Archangelsk area and other regions.

The company’s main sector of trade are professional activities and services in forestry. “Lesozavod-25” operates in the following fields: Sawing of spruces and pines and the production of pellets with 99% of the production exported, the revenue per year is €70 million.

The cogeneration plant (2 x 7,500 kWth output) constructed by Polytechnik in the Majmaksa settlement provides an affordable heat and power supply. Unconditioned wood waste is used as fuel. Electrical energy (2.3 MWel) is produced by a turbine generator manufactured by the company “M+M Turbinentechnik”. By burning their own wood waste, the company’s energy dependency on other energy providers is reduced. “
