Project description:

“The plant in Lebork was constructed by a consortium (Polytechnik Luft- und Feuerungstechnik GMBH and Polytechnik Polska Sp. z o.o). The construction time extended over the period from June 2014 until August 2015. The plant’s commissioning and trial operation took place from September to November 2015.

The investment was subsidised by Swiss Contribution with 85%. Thanks to this investment, 40% of the heat in the municipal system is now produced from biomass, a renewable source of energy. At the same time, Lębork is able to reduce its CO2 emissions by 40%. In November 2016, Lebork received an EU award for this investment: the EU GPP Award.”
