The thermal oil boiler plant, which was put in operation in 2015, is equipped with a single-pass boiler, a meander heater and an economizer. The thermal oil with a flow temperature of 312°C is used for electrical energy production by means of an ORC module, which nominally produces 1,278 kWel. The decoupled heat (90°C/70°C) is used for the customer’s wood drying (drying chambers) process.
