Project description:
This power plant constructed in 2007 is based on ORC technology. It’s operated in conjunction with a 5,450 kW thermal oil boiler with an ORC module, which produces 850 kWel.
The produced electricity is fed into the grid of the local energy supplier (EVN). Among other things, a military training area, districts of the community Allentsteig as well as a neighbouring wood panel manufacturing plant are heated by the plant’s waste heat.
