The city of Baran is located several kilometres from Orscha. The main task of the cogeneration plant installed there by Polytechnik is to save natural gas.

Petrikovskiy RShKH was a pioneer in the field of retrofitting boiler houses and in the changeover to biomass fuel in Belarus. The installed Polytechnik 7.5 MWth steam boiler plant (10 t/h, 24 bar, 350°C) supplies heat to 11,000 residents.
Lesozavod 25 KWK2
KWK-2 consists of two steam boiler units (9,500 kWth per Boiler, 12.5 t/h steam, steam temperature 420°C, operational pressure 25 bar) and a turbine generator with a maximum electrical output of 3.3 MW.
